Your Role as a Field Service Engineer
This exciting role involves working with a variety of healthcare equipment, ensuring compliance with LOLER testing regulations and delivering exceptional service. As the face of 24 NRG Group, you will provide maintenance, installation, and inspections at care homes, hospitals, and private residences.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting LOLER testing and equipment inspections.
- Servicing and maintaining devices such as hoists, slings, pressure mattresses, and wheelchairs.
- Installing and commissioning new equipment.
- Performing site surveys to assess client needs.
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
- Preparing and submitting service reports using a smartphone or tablet.
This role involves overnight stays (3 nights per week) as you travel to support clients across the UK. The amount of overnight stays per week will increase or decrease, depending on the location and amount of work required.

About You
We’re looking for a professional who thrives on delivering exceptional service and enjoys working in a dynamic, hands-on role.
Essential Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in servicing healthcare equipment, including LOLER inspections.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working in care homes, hospitals, or similar environments.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to stay overnight up to three times per week.
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Previous exposure to healthcare equipment service environments desirable.
